OUR VETERINARIANS:

Dr. Jeff Latimer is the sole owner of Princess Animal Hospital. His special interests are in veterinary ultrasound and diagnostic imaging, internal medicine and soft tissue surgery, and dentistry.

Dr. Latimer graduated from the University of Guelph in 1992, as a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. Each year he obtains in excess of 40 hours of continuing education. He is a member of the Ontario Veterinary Medical Association, the Canadian Veterinary Medical Association, and the College of Veterinarians of Ontario.

Dr. Latimer and his wife, Valerie, are the proud parents of two sons, Noah and Nicholas. Their family cat, Princess, travels back and forth from home to the hospital, where she enjoys visiting with all her friends.

Dr. Cherie White has many years experience as a practicing veterinarian and has developed a special interest in all areas of orthopedic medicine and surgery.

Dr. White earned her BSc. in Animal Science in 1995, and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 2000, both from the University of Guelph. She continued her studies to receive special training in radiology for canine hip dysplasia (PennHIP), as well as in the advanced surgical procedure of cruciate repair in the dog (TPLO surgery).

Recently, Dr. White has pursued education in the field of physical rehabilitation medicine. She will soon be one of the few veterinarians in Canada to be certified as a canine rehabilitation therapist.

Dr. White enjoys family life with her husband, Wayne, and their two children, Evan and Rachel. Their third child is a Border Terrier named Martha.

Both Dr. White and Dr. Latimer are seeing new patients and would enjoy meeting you and your pets. For more information, to tour our hospital or to meet our staff, please contact Princess Animal Hospital at 634-7123.
